
The Medical Radiation Technologists Board of Queensland is the body responsible for the registration of Medical Imaging Technologists, Radiation Therapists and Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Queensland. Before a person in Queensland may practise as, or hold themselves out to be, one of the above, he or she must first register with the Board.
The Board is the statutory authority established to enact the provisions of the Medical Radiation Technologists Registration Act 2001, Medical Radiation Technologists Registration Regulation 2002 and the Health Practitioners (Professional Standards) Act 1999.
