
Registration Information
To work in Queensland as a Medical Imaging Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiation Therapist you must hold current registration with the Board. Click here to download a copy of the Board's Registration Policy.

| 1. | I am not registered in another Australian State/Territory or New Zealand however hold an Australian or New Zealand qualification (General Registration); click here. |
| 2. | I am registered and hold a current annual practising certificate in another Australian State or Territory (Mutual Recognition); click here. |
| 3. | I am registered and hold a current annual practising certificate in New Zealand (Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition); click here. |
| 4. | I hold a qualification gained outside of Australia or New Zealand; click here. |

If you require registration to teach, study or train at a postgraduate level, undertake clinical demonstrations or engage in research, you may be eligible for Special Purpose Registration. To find out more about this type of registration, please contact the Office on 07 3225 2509.
Legislation
The Board is the statutory authority established to enact the provisions of the Medical Radiation Technologists Registration Act 2001, Medical Radiation Technologists Registration Regulation 2002 and the Health Practitioners (Professional Standards) Act 1999.
